Our History
The Verandah-Curlee House, originally known as the Veranda House, is a historic residence in Corinth, Mississippi, built in 1857 by Hamilton Mask, one of the city’s founders. Adjacent to the main house stands a small wooden cottage dating from the 1850s. This cottage, often referred to as the guest house, is a one-story, post-and-timber center-hall plan structure featuring Greek Revival architectural elements. It is notable for its entablature adorned with a bullet-like trim motif, added around 1925–1930.
